‘Wonderful memories’: Vivianne Miedema leaves Arsenal this summer.

Vivianne Miedema will depart Arsenal at the conclusion of the season when her contract expires. Since joining from Bayern Munich in 2017, the attacker has scored 125 goals and given 50 assists in 172 games.

After missing December 2022 to October 2023 with an anterior cruciate ligament injury, Women's Super League all-time leading scorer Miedema has played 13 times this season.

The Netherlands international said in a farewell video: “After seven special years, it's time for my Arsenal journey to come to an end. I am honored to have represented this club with such a rich history and tradition.
